Classes at Merrimac Heights Academy (100 West Main, Merrimac):
Classes: Wednesday 6 PM (Gentle), 7 PM (Power);
Saturday 7 AM (Power), 8 AM (Gentle)
All classes are "donation only." Pay what you can, pay for someone else, or take advantage of someone's "pay-it-forward."
Asteya: ("ah-STAY-uh") is a yogic moral code that means "non-stealing." For us, Asteya means charity and compassion for others. We do this by providing affordable classes, never letting cost be a barrier to practice. We hold "donation only" classes, where payment for class comes in the form of a donation to the local charity of the month. We support local charity efforts with financial donations as well.
Asteya means that we should give of ourselves, to others, what we can, and whenever we can. It is in compassion for others that we find peace.
